警方日前採購全新的紅外線酒精分析儀，一樣吹氣檢驗，可排除吃薑母鴨、燒酒雞在口腔內殘留不穩定的酒精反應，進一步透過紅外線檢驗辨識出酒精被人體吸收後，在肺部內深層的酒精濃度，檢測結果更精確，台北市警察局明晚10時的擴大臨檢勤務就要啟用。

台北市交通警察大隊表示，酒精分析儀每台價格25萬5千元，比目前使用的酒測器更精確，去年採購了45台，警政署和高速公路警察局也已添購此酒測新利器。
