捍衛農鄉聯盟、台灣農村陣線、主婦聯盟等民間團體，今天召開聯合記者會，抨擊自由貿易帶給台灣農業的毀滅性破壞。他們預告，2月3日將在凱道發起糧食主權人民論壇，要對台灣農業政策進行總體檢。

中興大學應用經濟系教授陳吉仲說，農委會號稱有81萬公頃可耕地，但僅於54萬公頃實際耕作，目前台灣糧食自給率，只剩33.49%。

陳吉仲批說，抵擋因為加入WTO後的傾銷政策都來不及了，政府卻毫無對策地開放830項中國農產品進口，讓台灣食品安全雪上加霜。

86歲的務農阿祥伯則氣得拍桌大罵，《憲法》保障人民生存權，政府卻帶頭違法，「這樣無法無天的政府，可以相信嗎」？
