賭場開發案延宕　懷德抵馬祖盼中央支持

馬祖開發案延宕，賭場金主懷德聯合開發公司總裁威廉‧懷德（William .P Weidner）上午抵馬，了解開發案的進度。數十名鄉親在機場大廳迎接，高喊「懷德加油」，懷德也以不很流利的中文說「辛苦了!我愛馬祖」。

當地居民擔心開發案會不會因此而移轉他國，懷德強調，對馬祖很有信心，亞洲的重心放在馬祖。馬祖博弈公投過關已半年，博弈法草案仍在行政院，懷德希望能在19日與到馬祖視察的總統馬英九會面，盼望中央政府的支持。
