反苗栗再蓋水庫　綠委：不要成為小林村

環保署日前有條件通過苗栗天花湖水庫環評，民進黨立委吳宜臻今天開記者會表示，天花湖水庫將鑽挖隧道越域引水，但先前小林村滅村教訓猶在，「苗栗不要變成小林村！」

吳宜臻指出，苗栗已有5個水庫，且每天提供台中、新竹超過60萬噸用水，當初天花湖水庫估用水量時將工業用水高估，但許多工業區都閒置或尚待環評，因此並無再蓋水庫需求。

水利署副署長賴伯勳說，用水估計是以2031年苗栗用水會增加75％規劃，由於目前地方有反彈聲浪，在地方反對前提下，工程計畫書將不會送出。
