役男改4個月軍訓　首批2500人2/20入伍

為因應兵役制度由徵兵制轉型為募兵制後，83年次的役男將接受4個月的常備兵役軍事訓練，首批2500餘名役男，將在2/20入伍，接受各8周（2個月）的「入伍訓」及「專長訓」；而在大專院長就讀的役男，則將在7月接受暑期軍事訓練。
 
常備兵役軍事訓練結訓後，即以「後備役」列管。
