癌友遊大雪山昏迷　警員飛馳搶救

「真的很感謝你們，要不是你們迅速趕來救我，我可能就沒命了。」
 
一位42歲劉姓癌友，於本月2日上午前往大雪山森林遊樂區遊玩，因身體較虛弱，突感體力耗盡，加上高山空氣稀薄，引發高山症，造成呼吸困難、癱軟無力、已呈現昏迷現象，家屬急忙向警方求援。
 
警方接獲報案後飛奔趕往，原本要20分鐘的路程，10分鐘就攜帶急救器材趕赴瞭望台施予搶救，劉姓癌友逐漸恢復意識，再由員警安全護送下山。
 
今日上午，劉姓癌友親自打電話向警方感謝「救命之恩」，表示以後會注意安全，「不敢再爬太高的山」。
